Berry - where it all begins!

Welcome to Berry….. a town for all seasons. Berry has a sense of style, an appreciation of history and a love of all the good things in life.

Berry is one of those rare finds. Set amongst rolling green hills with the backdrop of the stunning Cambewarra range, its striking landscape is unparalleled. Berry, the first truly rural town south of Sydney is a country experience like no other.

The town is famous for its cafes, antiques and boutique shopping but this is just the tip of the experience. If gourmet delights are your passion, Berry will fulfil your dreams. The surrounding area is dotted with many boutique wineries of note and the restaurants and local gourmet food outlets should not be missed. If passive pastimes are not your thing – then Berry won’t disappoint you either. A host of outdoor and adventure pursuits are on its doorstep. National Parks, 4WD adventures, surfing, canoeing, horse riding and rock climbing are just a few outdoor sports you can enjoy.

No matter what the time of year there is always something happening in Berry. Whether it be the country markets on the first Sunday of the month, the Berry Show on the first weekend in February, the wonderful Musicale festival held throughout May and June or the beautiful Garden Festival in October. There is always something to entertain you. See our What’s on in Berry for further information on local events.

The town of Berry is a well kept secret but once discovered you will return time and time again.

So…. come and see for yourself and discover Berry….where it all begins.
